Job Description

The Quality Engineer will ensure Zoox’s products and services provide a high level of quality that meets the defined standards and specifications. They will work with various teams to ensure products meet design specifications and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate customer feedback to relevant Zoox functions
• Develop and maintain Fleet Quality Health metrics and track progress
• Support verification of fleet’s HW/SW updates
• Lead vehicle release process
• Evaluate and monitor maintenance and repair operations
• Lead process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Willingness to travel 40%-50%
• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Seven (7) plus experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of QMS, quality control fundamentals, and 8D problem-solving techniques
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, decision-making, oral and written communication skills
