Job Description

The Director role is newly created to build machine learning models for Prosper's Credit Card business. You will initiate and build critical card ML models by working closely with credit strategy teams and third-party solution providers. You will work with a fast-paced and talented team that values innovation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to build machine learning models for card acquisition credit strategies and credit management programs
• Apply knowledge in data, modeling, and analytical expertise to drive the growth of the card business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the entire modeling cycle
• Evaluate third party solutions with strong business acumen
• Demonstrate exceptional business communication skills
• Lead by example to show passion and enthusiasm towards new challenges

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in credit card modeling
• A strong machine learning education background
• Ability to formulate business problems
• Demonstrated track record of organizational skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Advance degree (M.S./PhD) in a related field
• Comfortable to use Google Cloud data environment and broad stack of technologies
• Familiar with regulatory guidelines in lending business
