Job Description

Lightmatter is seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. The role involves managing the close process, supporting audits, and leading initiatives to enhance compliance and improve financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting efforts for revenue recognition, lease accounting, and stock-based compensation
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos
• Support audits and regulatory filings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Design, implement, and maintain internal controls
• Lead strategic initiatives including IPO readiness
• Design and implement process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 12+ years of accounting experience
• Active CPA
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems
• Ability to resolve complex accounting matters
• Strong communication skills
