Job Description

As a Product Development Chemist at Ro, you'll lead the technical development of new formulas, focusing on compounding. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products from concept to launch, optimizing formula development processes and contributing to Ro's mission of revolutionizing healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop formulas
• Innovate using existing or new raw materials
• Evaluate competitors’ products
• Own lab and pilot plant batches
• Support pharmacy team with production batches
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for raw materials
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Stay informed of latest compounding/manufacturing capabilities
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
• 3+ years of product development experience
• Experience with laboratory equipment and testing processes
• Knowledge of compounding pharmacy guidelines is preferred
• Technical experience in a lab setting
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
