Job Description

The Manager of the Release Management team at Zoox will own all aspects of the software release process, ensuring the safest and most reliable software possible by leading a team focused on tracking releases, updating testing strategies, measuring system performance, and escalating issues during testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative environment
• Define branching strategies and release cadence
• Manage software release workflows end-to-end
• Drive improvements to shorten time-to-release and increase quality
• Improve testing strategies, measure system performance, and resolve issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related field
• 8+ years of experience in complex testing environments
• 3+ years of direct management experience
• Experience releasing customer-facing software at scale
• Experience implementing changes to speed up software development
• Prior experience creating and measuring KPIs
• Proficiency with Github, CI, and Jira
