Job Description

Lead and build the PCB design team, ensuring best design practices, manufacturability, and process adherence. Responsibilities include mentoring, establishing standards, driving workload, and collaborating with other engineering teams. Requires extensive experience in PCB design, leadership, and knowledge of industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of CAD engineers
• Mentor teammates and provide technical feedback
• Establish PCB design team standards and processes
• Drive team workload, priorities, and schedule
• Contribute directly to PCB designs, library work, and ECOs when needed
• Engage cross-functionally with engineering teams
• Support manufacturing by incorporating reliability and failure feedback
• Work directly with PCB manufacturing and assembly vendors

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a PCB design engineer
• 3+ years of experience as a lead or manager
• Excellent technical fundamentals
• Extensive experience with constraints, net classes, variants, BOM and library management, design outputs
• Highly knowledgeable in cradle to grave PCB design processes
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Familiarity with Altium
