Job Description

Plaid's Public Policy Manager will advocate with government policymakers, consumer groups, trade associations, and think tanks to support Plaid’s mission of democratizing financial services. The role involves navigating complex political and regulatory dynamics, translating technical and business concepts into policy insights, and building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support relationships with regulators, legislators, and stakeholders
• Participate in industry working groups
• Collaborate on policy priorities
• Conduct policy research and analysis
• Help manage Public Policy team projects
• Represent Plaid in forums
• Stay ahead of emerging policy trends

Requirements

• 8+ years of federal policy experience
• Ability to engage with stakeholders
• Track record of advocacy success
• Strong communication skills
• High-level analytical ability
• Technical and product affinity
• Adaptive, positive, collaborative thinker
