Job Description

Wyetech is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with experience in Cloud technology (AWS), programming skills in languages like Python or Go, and a strong Linux foundation to contribute to the development of custom software components and integration of open-source code to address complex problems using Big Data / Cloud technology in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom software components and integrate open-source code
• Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software
• Enhance, optimize, or increase robustness of existing code
• Define, build, and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud
• Work autonomously identifying and solving problems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Software Development (Python or Go) with Bachelors or 3 years relevant experience with Masters or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
• Experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of Linux systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship and security clearance
