Job Description

This role focuses on ensuring accurate payroll processing for US employees, including preparing, processing, and maintaining records while adhering to regulations. The specialist will collaborate with HR and Finance, address discrepancies, and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly payroll for up to 300 employees
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams
• Process employee compensation, benefit deductions, and 401(k) pension
• Address urgent payroll issues outside regular cycles

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience
• Deep understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance
• Experience managing complex payroll for diverse compensation structures
• Strong proficiency with payroll software
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with HR and Finance teams
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation highly desirable
