Join Scout Motors to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck and rugged SUV market. As a Senior Body Systems Engineer, you will be an expert in CAD tools, processes, and PDM systems, creating and optimizing CAD data for various testing and manufacturing purposes. This role involves collaboration with suppliers, ensuring designs meet safety standards, and staying attuned to consumer experience.

Responsibilities

• Expert in CAD tools, processes, and PDM systems
• Create CAD data for new concepts and solutions
• Optimize CAD data for cost, functionality, weight, and manufacturability
• Develop CAD data for virtual and physical testing
• Collaborate with suppliers and engineering service providers
• Ensure designs conform to safety standards
• Propose system improvements based on consumer experience
• Manage resources efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
• 8+ years of experience in body mechanical areas
• Strong communication skills
• Expert in CATIA V5 and PDM systems
• Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lead engineering teams
• Good knowledge of MS Office products
• Familiarity with CAE
• Ability to build strong working relationships
