Join Scout Motors and be part of shaping the future of transportation by developing and executing tests for steering and brake systems, ensuring performance, efficiency, and reliability. This role involves in-vehicle and system-level testing, data analysis, and collaboration with DREs and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tests for steering and brake systems
• Derive test procedures based on requirements
• Conduct performance, durability, environmental, and regulatory testing
• Perform in-vehicle and system level component measurements
• Conduct FUSA related test preparation and execution
• Support root cause analysis and propose corrective actions
• Collaborate with DREs and suppliers
• Coordinate part availability and ensure test readiness
• Document test plans, results, and technical reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
• 4+ years of experience in automotive testing
• Experience with brake system performance metrics and validation methodologies
• Understanding of electronic brake actuation systems
• Hands-on experience with test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Vehicle limit handling driving abilities
• Experience with component test benches and HIL/SIL setups
• Understanding of Functional Safety standards
• Experience with in-vehicle testing
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
