Join Scout Motors to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck and rugged SUV marketplace. This role involves coordinating control algorithms, performing calibration, ensuring industry standards, utilizing modeling tools, collaborating with teams, and conducting testing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and refine control algorithms for electric vehicle thermal management systems
• Perform calibration of thermal and climate functionality
• Ensure thermal management systems meet industry standards
• Utilize modeling and simulation tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Conduct testing, validation, and optimization
• Participate in calibration development trips
• Lead issue resolution for thermal calibration and/or software issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in high voltage battery controls system development
• Proficiency in control theory, algorithm development, and simulation tools
• Experience in calibration tools and methodologies
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, or Python
• Familiarity with thermal management systems and associated hardware
• Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
