Job Description

Seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with power systems expertise (AC/DC) and DoD project experience to design, analyze, and implement electrical power systems, ensuring compliance with DoD standards. This role involves managing complex systems, collaborating with teams, and delivering solutions for mission-critical applications. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position requiring a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze AC/DC power distribution systems
• Perform power system modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Conduct fault analysis and load flow studies
• Prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Evaluate and select components
• Ensure compliance with standards
• Support development and testing of power systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Provide technical support for installation and maintenance
• Conduct risk assessments

Requirements

• Expertise in power systems (AC/DC)
• Experience with DoD projects
• Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
• Knowledge of MIL-STD, NEC, and IEEE guidelines
