Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) Technician to join our team in providing critical support for secure communications systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading DRSN systems, ensuring the secure and uninterrupted flow of classified communications for mission-critical operations. Active TS/SCI required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of DRSN equipment
• Ensure the reliability and availability of secure communications systems
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules
• Install, configure, and integrate new DRSN equipment
• Conduct system upgrades, patches, and hardware replacements
• Provide Tier II/III support to resolve complex technical issues
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to address network and system anomalies
• Maintain detailed logs of system activities, issues, and resolutions
• Ensure all operations adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) security policies and procedures
• Conduct regular system audits to maintain compliance with security standards
• Respond promptly to security incidents and support forensic investigations
• Create and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership on system health and project progress

Requirements

• Expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading DRSN systems
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Knowledge of DoD security policies and procedures
