Job Description

Airbyte is seeking a Bay Area-based Sales Director to join their sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. This person will join the founding management team and will have a great impact on building and leading the field sales team and defining the GTM strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of enterprise Account Executives
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Manage sales forecasting, reporting, and overall pipeline management
  • Bring creative solutions to complex challenges
  • Inspire a culture of hard work, collaboration, customer love, and ongoing improvement
  • Encourage and support continuous learning and understanding of a technical product and technical customer base

Requirements

  • 4+ Years of sales management experience in B2B sales within SaaS / Cloud / Data platforms
  • Demonstrated history of driving revenue and exceeding quota attainment
  • Proven ability to solve complex business problems and adapt to the fast-changing nature of high-growth companies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value of complex cloud technologies, especially with technical customers
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • An optimistic attitude and growth mindset
