Job Description

Lightmatter seeks a Power Integrity engineer to drive next-generation products from concept to development, optimizing package and system architecture for power integrity requirements, solving complex interactions across digital, analog, and photonics domains.

Responsibilities

• Support PDN design and analysis for digital and analog SoC domains
• Assist in modeling regulator characteristics for component selection
• Use simulation tools to extract PCB and package impedance profiles
• Perform time-domain and frequency-domain simulations
• Conduct lab measurements to validate power integrity design
• Work with hardware designers and layout engineers
• Participate in design reviews and document analysis results
• Monitor and review PDN constraints during layout
• Support senior engineers in system-level tradeoff studies

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in power delivery and power integrity analysis
• Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools
• Experience in DC-DC converter design
• Experience with PCB design and layout considerations
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
