Job Description

SkyGrid, a Boeing Company, is seeking an Avionics Systems Integration Lead to develop, integrate, and test a high-integrity system for UAM operations, adhering to ARP 4754A/B and DO178C standards. The lead will manage a multidisciplinary team, make technical decisions, and ensure the delivery of documentation and software according to the program plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-critical system design for UAM flight monitoring and traffic surveillance
• Lead development and tracking of safety-critical system requirements
• Lead development and documentation of safety-critical system architecture
• Lead identification of safety-critical system interfaces
• Support development and review of verification planning
• Support component procurement and system trade studies
• Support technology maturation of advanced system functionality
• Supervise hardware and software task estimation and tracking
• Deliver integrated system hardware and software
• Provide executive status reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field
• 10+ years of experience in a safety-critical, aerospace-related industry
• 5+ years of experience as a technical team leader
• Experience with aerospace certification programs
• Familiarity with SAE ARP4754B and ARP4761A
• Understanding of software development processes according to RTCA DO-178C, DO-278A, and DO-331
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices
