Hermeus is seeking a Mechanisms Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for high-speed aircraft projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations
• Oversee prototyping and testing
• Select materials and manufacturing processes
• Maintain documentation and generate reports
• Collaborate with and mentor junior engineers
• Stay current with industry advancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Master's preferred)
• 3+ years of mechanisms engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools
• Experience with FEA analysis
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
