The Quality Assurance Associate ensures the safety of meals by overseeing food production, adhering to HACCP and FDA standards, and completing pre-op inspections.
Responsibilities
Complete Pre-Op inspection form
Oversee food production and ensure adherence to rules and regulations
Enter components into Cooking/Cooling Log, record time and temperature
Communicate kitchen rules to Chefs
Ensure proper labeling of items
Ensure walk-in coolers maintain temperature
Requirements
Ability to work in a cold prep area
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods
High school diploma or equivalent
Authorization to work in the United States
Previous experience in food safety or quality control
Bilingual (Spanish)
Food Handlers Certification or willingness to complete
