A data analyst is needed to join the Finance team, supporting a business passionate about weather and innovative products. The role involves uncovering insights from diverse datasets to support strategic direction and drive recommendations.
Responsibilities
Explore and analyze financial, sales, and product datasets
Develop new analytical approaches and frameworks
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations
Create financial models and scenario analyses
Support strategic initiatives with data-backed recommendations
Analyze seller performance and account dynamics
Analyze A/B tests and experiments
Translate findings into clear visualizations and presentations
Requirements
Experience working with unstructured data
Strong curiosity and independent problem-solving skills
Ability to think strategically
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience
Experience leveraging databases with large-scale data sets
Experience with SQL and other languages like Python
Proficiency in modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Experience working as an analyst and/or consultant is a plus
