Job Description

Debtwire is seeking a financial restructuring lawyer with a minimum of five years of experience in the restructuring group at a law firm to join our team as a Senior Legal Analyst. The role involves writing articles that analyze complex legal issues concerning both in-court and out-of-court restructurings for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Publishing in-depth legal research on corporate restructuring issues
• Analyzing and publishing articles on liability management transactions and out-of-court restructurings
• Producing same-day analysis of market-moving events
• Working collaboratively with other legal analysts to produce content

Requirements

• J.D. is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience at a law firm in the corporate restructuring department
• Substantial comprehension of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Superior time management capabilities
