Job Description

ION Corporates is seeking a Product Manager with expertise in the North American and/or European Natural Gas markets and the Allegro CTRM product. The role involves understanding customer needs, defining solutions, collaborating on product roadmaps, driving the product build process, and supporting customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs through interactions and research
• Articulate product implications for customer needs
• Define solutions for market needs and customer issues
• Collaborate on product roadmap for Allegro Gas products
• Drive the product build process
• Develop acceptance test plans
• Execute system and user acceptance tests
• Provide documentation content
• Demonstrate product capabilities
• Communicate with customers
• Support RFP process
• Provide product expertise in client meetings and demos
• Assist in creating marketing collateral
• Support customer implementation analysis projects
• Review proposed configurations and integrations
• Provide support to ION consultants
• Assist technical support on complex issue resolution
• Support client interactions

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of North American natural gas trading and pipeline scheduling
• Knowledge of front/middle/back office business processes
• Knowledge of physical and financial derivative products, risk management, accounting, and market standards
• Working knowledge of Allegro CTRM
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Intrinsic desire to understand the “why” behind each problem
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
• Proficiency in personal productivity tools
• Experience with Allegro CMS
• Experience working with complementary software and integrations
• Experience in agile software development practices
• Understanding of technical architecture, frameworks, and database
