Job Description

The Manager of Sales Development leads a team of professionals, ensuring sales targets are met and contributing to the organization's growth by attracting new partners.

Responsibilities

  • Sets goals and objectives for team members
  • Supervises colleagues
  • Ensures policies and procedures are followed
  • Leads and prioritizes team activities
  • Manages, mentors, and coaches the team
  • Coordinates cross-functional communication
  • Provides leadership in sales, management, metrics, systems, and processes
  • Creates and maintains tools and processes for managing the Sales program
  • Leads sales efforts
  • Researches and documents risks
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams for sales campaigns
  • Identifies and recommends corrective action
  • Develops reporting and communications
  • Recommends improvements on sales initiatives
  • Assists in the operational and tactical aspects of managing opportunities
  • Serves as the point of contact for the Sales Development team
  • Works cross-functionally on demand generation campaigns
