Job Description

xAI is seeking exceptional engineers to integrate its advanced AI infrastructure into the X Platform, which is used by around 600 million users monthly. The role involves rebuilding X’s core technology, developing large-scale distributed systems, and transforming X into an Everything App.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in ideation, experimentation, implementation, and operation of distributed systems, data pipelines, and product features
• Rebuilding X’s core technology using xAI’s modern tech stack
• Developing large-scale distributed systems with millions of QPS and integrated AI
• Transforming X into the Everything App with Grok

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with large-scale, high-throughput distributed systems and/or data pipelines
• Proficiency in Golang, Rust, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with modern data pipeline and ML infrastructure ecosystem (optional)
• Experience in search engines, sponsored search, contextual ads, performance ads, recommender systems, click predictions, and ranking (optional)
