Job Description

As a Content Strategist at Podium, you'll play a key role in the company’s go to market success. You'll drive full funnel content marketing efforts, working closely with marketing / sales stakeholders to deliver high quality content that resonates with target audiences and aligns with business strategy/pipeline goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build expertise on target customers and industries
  • Produce vertical content strategy
  • Write and edit content for marketing channels
  • Execute customer stories and case studies
  • Oversee blog editorial strategy
  • Cultivate understanding of Podium’s AI platform
  • Refine Podium’s narrative and positioning
  • Manage a team of writers
  • Establish content creation workflows and governance standards

Requirements

  • 5-7 years in content/editorial strategy, product marketing, or sales enablement
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Customer obsession and research skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical mindset
  • Ability to develop content strategies
  • Self-starter with project management skills
  • Strong grounding in SEO best practices and tools
  • Technical proficiency with various tools
  • SEO knowledge and experience
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Content leadership experience at a high growth, software company (preferred)
  • Experience working with small businesses or in target industries (preferred)
