Job Description

Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial ownership and process improvement in product finance, focusing on direct material costs and vehicle platforms. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, and strategic initiative support within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of bill of material and vendor investment costs
• Develop bill of material management tools
• Consolidate and analyze financial data, including variance analysis and KPI establishment
• Review purchase requests for accuracy and compliance
• Facilitate team alignment and decision-making, presenting data in cohesive reports
• Provide objective progress tracking and analyze strategic initiatives to reduce cost of goods sold
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years of variance analysis experience
• Prior experience supporting product development, bill of material, or engineering preferred
• Proven technical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with autonomy
• Demonstrated effective communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience utilizing ERP system and Business Intelligence tools
• Finance Analyst experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier is a plus
