Seeking a highly motivated Mapping and Navigation Engineer to develop and implement cutting-edge mapping and navigation solutions for ADAS, focusing on machine learning for SLAM, state estimation, and optimization.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement mapping and localization algorithms
Research and apply machine learning techniques to enhance mapping and localization systems
Develop and optimize state estimation algorithms
Implement and evaluate optimization techniques for map building and localization
Work with various sensor data to create robust maps and localization systems
Develop and maintain software in C++ and/or Python
Collaborate with other engineers to integrate mapping and localization solutions
Participate in code reviews and improve software quality
Stay up-to-date with the latest research in mapping, localization, and machine learning
Requirements
7+ years of full-time engineering experience
M.S. or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of SLAM, state estimation, optimization, and sensor fusion
Proven experience in developing and implementing mapping and localization algorithms
Proficiency in machine learning techniques
Strong programming skills in C++
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
