Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking an Engineer, Diagnostics Test to identify, generate, and implement test cases for diagnostic features. The role involves configuring test setups, generating automation scripts, supporting Hardware in the Loop diagnostics verification, and collaborating with various teams to plan and execute test activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, generate, and implement test cases for diagnostic features
• Configure test setups and test runs
• Generate and improve automation scripts
• Support Hardware in the Loop diagnostics verification
• Collaborate with various teams to plan test activities
• Report, track, and escalate issues
• Identify gaps in requirements
• Help with test scalability

Requirements

• BS + 3 years or MS + 1 year of experience in Software Testing
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229) and DoIP (ISO 13400)
• Experience in test automation using scripting languages (Python or CAPL)
• Working knowledge of electrified powertrains
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
