Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Engineer for HIL testing of access control systems, focusing on NFC, UWB, and BLE technologies. The role involves developing and implementing test cases, automating test tools, and troubleshooting systems using various lab equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in HiL testing, scripting, and automotive communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Generate and implement test cases for motor controller
• Configure test setups and runs according to plan
• Develop test automation and improve scripts
• Run tests at HW-SW integration level (HiL), document and report results
• Document and track issues, participate in triaging
• Design and build test benches
• Identify gaps in requirements and update documents
• Develop test cases to satisfy Functional Safety requirements
• Meet diagnostic coverage requirements
• Troubleshoot Systems/ECUs using lab equipment
• Participate in the design of engineering efforts

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with NFC, UWB, BLE, and Digital Key testing
• 3+ years experience building test setups involving NFC/UWB Nodes
• 5+ years of full-time experience as HiL Test Engineer
• 5+ years experience with Python or similar scripting language(s)
• 5+ years experience developing Simulink Models
• 5+ years experience with automotive communication protocols
• 5+ years experience with ‘Real Time’ simulation systems
