Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a SR. ENGINEER, SYSTEM INTEGRATION POWERTRAIN to work with integration engineers to identify, generate and implement test cases and verification criteria for a system under test. The candidate will develop, plan and execute component and/ system level testing, document and report test results.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement test cases and verification criteria
• Configure test setups and test runs
• Develop, plan, and execute component and system level testing
• Document and report test results
• Document and track issues
• Escalate issues
• Develop test automation and improve automation scripts
• Collaborate with Controls teams and System Engineers
• Help identify gaps in requirements
• Help with testing scalability for new products
• Support Hardware in Loop test teams
• Participate in requirement and case reviews
• Participate in test infrastructure development
• Own and maintain test infrastructure
• Root cause test infrastructure issues
• Participate in the design of engineering efforts

Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive testing experience
• Experience with vehicle instrumentation
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, or similar tools
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols
• Working knowledge of electrified powertrains
• ASTQB/ISTQB certification is a plus
• Proficiency with test case automation, Functional safety testing, CAPL scripting is a plus
• 5+ years’ experience with J1772, NACS, DIN70121, ISO15118 and GB/T 38775 is a plus
• 5+ years’ experience working with High Voltage systems is a plus
