Lucid Motors is seeking a Manager, Plant Vehicle Engineering for Body Engineering to oversee design release, lead cost reduction efforts, and support issue resolution at their manufacturing plant in Casa Grande, AZ. The role involves managing a team of hardware engineers and requires automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of hardware engineers
• Oversee design release and continuous improvement activities
• Lead cost reduction efforts
• Engage technical experts for issue resolution
• Support root cause analysis and develop countermeasures
• Lead troubleshooting and remove roadblocks
• Report to Vehicle Engineering organization

Requirements

• 10 years automotive experience in Vehicle Design or Vehicle Development
• Experience in automotive manufacturing plants
• Prior experience with prototype builds or product launch events
• Knowledge of vehicle testing requirements
• Experience managing a team of engineers
• Bachelor of Engineering degree required
