Lucid Motors seeks a Technical Specialist to lead a team of modeling engineers, focusing on system-level modeling for electric vehicles. The role involves developing and maintaining system models, analyzing parameter effects, and collaborating with various engineering departments. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems modeling, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Grow and mentor a team of modeling engineers
• Collaborate with engineering departments to create models
• Develop and maintain system models
• Build tools for simulation parameter pre-processing and post-processing
• Analyze the effect of changing parameters
• Couple the effects of different systems in an EV

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems modeling
• Knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and energy systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline
