Job Description

As a Staff Engineer, Cost Engineering, you will join our high-caliber Cost Engineering team at Lucid Motors. In this role, you'll leverage your deep expertise in cost modeling to create detailed should-cost analyses for components and assemblies across our entire product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates
• Perform teardown and analysis
• Support Value Analysis and Value Engineering activities
• Partner with Global Supply Managers (GSMs)
• Partner with engineering teams to utilize cost estimates and cost models

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Mechanical expertise
• Electrical expertise
• Proven experience in developing and utilizing complex cost models
• Strong engineering skills to interpret CAD models
• Experience utilizing cost modeling tools
• Knowledge of interpreting financial reporting and market trends
• Proficiency in using CAD software
• Proficient in clearly conveying complex cost-related insights
• Experienced in guiding and developing junior team members
• Minimum of 10+ Years Experience in cost estimation
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
