Job Description

As an Electric Propulsion System Manufacturing Technician, you will assemble components for the Midnight aircraft, focusing on manual assembly, following work instructions, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test custom mechanisms
  • Assemble the integrated tilt mechanism, engine, and propeller system
  • Work closely with engineering teams for process validation
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • Debug issues during assembly and test processes
  • Ensure all quality standards are followed
  • Build basic lab fixtures and tools, and give feedback
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Perform inspections and measurements of product dimensions

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or 5+ years in aerospace or automotive industry
  • Direct hands-on build experience with mechanical assemblies
  • Experience with fastening operations and mechanical assembly processes
  • Ability to follow build instructions and document deviations
  • High workmanship standards with attention to detail
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of drafting standards
  • Experience using measurement and inspection tools
  • Familiarity with 5S or similar workplace organization methods
  • Experience following maintenance safety protocol
