Job Description

Mochi Health is looking for experienced providers passionate about obesity medicine to build long-term relationships with patients. This role offers a flexible, telemedicine-first environment for physicians to practice evidence-based obesity medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual consultations for patients with obesity and metabolic health conditions
• Prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications and other obesity treatments
• Utilize a custom-built EMR for longitudinal obesity care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Stay updated with clinical research through monthly academic lectures
• Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care in a telemedicine setting

Requirements

• MD/DO with current board certification (preferably in Endocrinology, Bariatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Medicine)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in obesity medicine and/or endocrinology
• Licensed in at least five states
• DABOM certification (optional, but preferred)
• 1+ year of experience prescribing GLP-1 medications
• 1+ year of telemedicine experience
