Job Description

Auctane is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to produce financial budgets and forecasts, analyze KPIs, and conduct ad-hoc analysis. This hybrid role in Austin, TX, involves developing and implementing forecasting and budgeting processes, and preparing presentations for management and the board. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop consistent and accurate reporting and improve consolidated reporting processes
• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting and forecasting
• Analyze business problems strategically and tactically
• Review and validate financial data
• Create ad-hoc financial models and analysis
• Improve financial models
• Interface with Finance & Accounting team members
• Drive month-end close reporting
• Implement monthly forecasting and annual budget processes
• Act as subject matter expert on the reporting/planning tool
• Partner with Finance team on forecast expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Three to five years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with Google Suite
• Self-motivated, mission-driven, team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience working with large datasets and financial systems
