Job Description

PointClickCare is a leading North American healthcare technology platform. The Senior Software Engineer will identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle, develop tools and applications, automate tasks, analyze and debug systems, perform testing, and collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Iterate over software requirements
• Develop tools and applications
• Automate tasks
• Analyze and debug systems
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Review work of others
• Collaborate with teams and vendors
• Ensure software is up-to-date

Requirements

• Experience writing clean code with languages like Java/Kotlin/C#/Go
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases
• Experience writing RESTful API endpoints
• Knowledge of TDD
• Experience with UI development and frameworks
• Proficient in GIT
• Experience using system and performance monitoring tools
• Excellent organization, critical-thinking and personal leadership skills
• Self-starter with the ability to deliver with minimal supervision
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
