Job Description

The Vice President, Global Partners and Alliances is responsible for executing Appian’s partner strategy and overseeing a thriving partner ecosystem. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will work with other members of Sales and Customer Success leadership to achieve plan goals.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve Appian’s partner program
  • Ensure effective operationalization of Appian’s partner program
  • Oversee the creation and growth of Appian sales and services partnerships
  • Work cross-functionally to implement Appian’s partner strategy
  • Develop a strong pipeline of prospective partner candidates
  • Foster a culture of effective partner collaboration
  • Educate partner organizations on outcomes and benefits
  • Measure and provide executive insight to the progress of partner initiatives
  • Provide effective leadership for the global partner organization
  • Deliver committed sales and services results

Requirements

  • 7+ years of channels and preferably direct sales experience
  • Prior success in transformation of sales and services partner programs
  • Working knowledge of business process management
  • Working knowledge of value and solution selling methodologies
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious attitude
  • Able to work independently and within a complex cross-functional team
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master's Degree
