Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the Social Engineering team responsible for new initiatives, designs, and builds deep integrations with social platforms to measure ad performance. You will make technical choices to ensure industry-leading scalability and reliability on mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and develop distributed services for DoubleVerify's Social products
• Deliver large complex projects, services, and APIs
• Oversee end-to-end integrations with Social Integration Platforms
• Own major strategic initiatives
• Define processes and structures for engineering organization growth
• Contribute to architectural decisions
• Explore the technical landscape of the Big Data ecosystem
• Provide technical guidance and coaching
• Interact with executive-level management
• Communicate technical concepts and business objectives
• Attract, interview, hire, and onboard engineers
• Optimize SDLC processes
• Operate production environments and investigate issues
• Work in multi-functional agile teams

Requirements

• Design, lead, and deliver quality solutions
• Experience with distributed system technologies, standards, and protocols
• Experience with SDLC processes
• Fluent in SQL and data analysis
• 9+ years of programming experience using languages such as Python
• 3+ years of experience in big data systems using BigQuery, Airflow, and building data pipelines at scale
• 3+ years of experience in leadership roles
• Experience working with DevOps domain
• Experience in mentoring and growing a diverse team
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• 1+ Years of experience in Online Advertising technology (Preferred)
• Expertise in dbt and BigQuery (Preferred)
