Job Description

Ascend is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive growth by expanding their footprint in the Mid-Market and SMB segments. The role involves cold calling, outreach, and building a consistent outbound motion in the San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of customer problems and Ascend's solutions
  • Learn SDR team processes and GTM function
  • Prospect, cold call, and email to book demos
  • Establish habits to drive results
  • Work on strategic initiatives
  • Identify repeatable processes to meet goals
  • Experiment with outreach strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing
  • Leverage data for improvement
  • Give and receive feedback
  • Mentor new SDRs

Requirements

  • Some SDR experience in SaaS preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Creative thinker
  • Flexible and agile
  • Team player
  • Experience with tech stack like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo and Clay is a plus
  • Exposure to startup environments is a plus
