Job Description

The Staff Program Planner will assist the PMO with project-related responsibilities including Program Planning, Scheduling, Reporting, Creation of Program Trackers, Artifacts, Day 1 Go Live activities, Meeting Minutes, Change Controls, Closure, and other documentation, as well as assisting with Portfolio-level analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with delivering projects on-time, within scope/budget, and with the appropriate level of documentation
  • Develop and maintain program schedules to monitor and track progress
  • Document changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Analyze the schedule for impacts to the Program Events and intermediate milestones
  • Generate critical path analyses and support for program decision points and escalation
  • Measure project performance
  • Report and escalate Risks/Issues
  • Manage the relationship with the internal and external clients and all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance
  • Assist with Project financial reporting/ analysis
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Requirements

  • 2 years of project planning, consulting, and/or business-intelligence experience
  • Demonstrate initiative and professional written and verbal communication
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively and autonomously problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical resources and those with a non-technical, business background
  • Experience in developing program/project level schedules
  • Great technical acumen with the ability to use and learn new technologies
