Job Description

A Sales Executive (SE) is a pivotal in-market sales role at Beam Benefits. The role involves establishing and expanding partnerships with brokerages, focusing on building and nurturing lasting relationships to saturate the market. The executive will use various tactics to build trust, educate brokers, and deliver value, actively participating in market events to deepen relationships and expand Beam’s presence.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Execute the full Beam sales process
  • Develop new markets
  • Establish and expand relationships with brokerage partners
  • Maintain accurate sales data
  • Stay informed about new product launches
  • Track and analyze sales metrics
  • Collaborate with sales leadership
  • Use Salesforce to track opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings and events

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience in the insurance industry preferred
  • Ability to generate and analyze reports
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new product lines
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Passion for developing relationships
  • Ability to travel
  • Requirement to secure Life & Health license within 60 days
