Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and support our production operations in our cannabis manufacturing facility. The production supervision duties are mostly hands-on and direct in nature and require substantial time be spent on the plant floor working closely and directly with all production employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead production employees
• Organize workflow
• Establish and improve departmental policies
• Communicate job expectations and monitor results
• Develop and coach employees
• Create and oversee training schedule
• Monitor production output and check for compliance
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures
• Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Maintain compliance with laws and regulations
• Help establish and maintain inventory
• Monitor and achieve budgeting goals
• Establish and maintain production efficiencies
• Lead the team in producing Quality product
• Perform RCA

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a production environment, 2+ years in supervisory capacity
• High school diploma or GED required; BSc/BA preferred
• Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
• Highly motivated and self-directed
• Adapts and thrives in a demanding environment
• Operates with a high level of professionalism
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge in Continuous improvement
