Job Description

The Leader in Training (LIT) is an adaptable and essential part of the RISE Dispensary leadership team that prioritizes delivering memorable, positive consumer experiences. As part of the leadership team, you have a key role in actively supervising the dispensary’s daily operations, communicating priorities to team members, and optimizing the customer journey. As a Leader in Training, you will gain subject matter expertise as you rotate through critical dispensary functions supporting operations, experience, and people.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing dispensary operations and ensuring compliance
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
  • Overseeing deliveries and inventory management
  • Leading team members in executing programs and promotions
  • Demonstrating proper cash handling
  • Motivating team members to deliver positive customer experiences
  • Providing active supervision and recognizing team members
  • Facilitating omni-channel customer experience
  • Leading team members to deliver loyalty goals
  • Completing assigned tasks
  • Building and retaining a high-performing team
  • Providing coaching and feedback to team members
  • Facilitating team member badging process
  • Coordinating team member scheduling

Requirements

  • At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role
  • Cannabis experience preferred
  • Inventory control experience preferred
  • Meet scheduling and availability requirements
  • Reliable and dependable attendance
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Pass background checks
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Understand and comply with Green Thumb's rules and regulations
  • Solid understanding of Cannabis laws
  • Proactive with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to meet timelines and work under pressure
  • Open to constructive feedback
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams
