Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and implement scalable, high-quality data systems at Valo. You will define core data schemas, standardize ingestion workflows, and help lay the foundation for a scalable, governed and FAIR-compliant data platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and ingestion workflows
• Define and maintain schemas and tables in Snowflake and other systems
• Create reusable templates for data ingestion processes
• Build self-service tools and interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with data science and software engineering teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data or software engineering
• Strong foundation in computer science
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and modern cloud platforms
• Proven experience designing data pipelines and scalable data architectures
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data ecosystems
• Familiarity with CI/CD tool and automated workflows
