SpotOn is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building world-class restaurant reporting systems. The role involves driving AI adoption, providing technical leadership, and managing cross-team dependencies to help small businesses succeed.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Agentic AI to improve team efficiency
• Keep teams focused and engaged
• Maintain a rapid release cadence
• Uphold a standard of timely communication
• Build trust with individual contributors
• Work with leaders across Product, Engineering, and Operations
• Engage in performance management
• Optimize team workflow
• Preserve engineering values
• Identify blind spots and prioritize work
• Work with international teams
• Own the overall architecture and systems engineering

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Experience recruiting and building software engineering teams
• Ability to inspire and motivate team members
• Strong technical background in software engineering and architecture
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience managing software teams
