SpotOn is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building restaurant reporting systems. The role involves driving AI adoption, providing technical leadership, and managing cross-team dependencies to deliver systems critical to restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Agentic AI to improve team efficiency
• Keep teams focused and engaged on the mission
• Maintain a rapid release cadence and informative product backlog
• Uphold a standard of timely and lossless communication
• Build the trust of individual contributors
• Work with leaders across Product, Engineering, and Operations
• Aggressively engage in performance management
• Optimize team work to reduce time to value
• Preserve engineering values of quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Identify blind spots and prioritize work across teams
• Work with international teams to ensure successful product development
• Own the overall architecture and systems engineering for products

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Experience recruiting and building software engineering teams
• Ability to inspire and motivate team members
• Strong technical background in software engineering and architecture
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience managing software teams
