Job Description

Anduril Industries seeks a detail-oriented Senior Manager to lead travel and expense programs, ensuring an efficient corporate travel program. The role involves policy implementation, travel activity monitoring, program enhancement, and collaboration with finance and people teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Travel & Expense program, managing 3 FTEs
  • Advise and collaborate with the Senior Executive team on travel spend analysis, travel policies and program enhancements
  • Execute global strategy while adapting to regional variations and business needs
  • Establish operational excellence through strong processes, controls, and stakeholder support
  • Partner with Executive Assistants to ensure they have the resources to manager their executives’ travel
  • Lead vendor management & strategic negotiations with hotels, airlines, rental car agencies and for meetings & events
  • Manage escalations with stellar communication skills
  • Support individual travels when questions/issues arise
  • Support with unused airline ticket management
  • Reviewing and approving a subset of employee expenses & reimbursements
  • Supporting with month end close, ensuring employee expenses are completed and approved in a timely manner to reduce the need for month end accruals
  • Managing Business Travel Accidents (BTA) and Auto insurance

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate travel & expense management experience
  • Extensive understanding of global travel & expense operations
  • Deep knowledge of travel & expense platforms and related finance systems
  • Strong grasp of global and regional regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with cross-functional processes
  • Knowledge of change management, policy deployment, and best practices in global service delivery
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and CTM/GDS solutions
  • Ability to multi-task
