Job Description

Veeva is seeking a Security Engineer to enhance incident response and automation within the Security Operations team. The role involves streamlining incident response, prioritizing cloud resources, and expediting reporting and detection through automation. This position includes an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Triage alerts and analyze behaviors
• Coordinate with stakeholders and execute containment actions
• Craft and tune alerts
• Develop playbooks for automation
• Maintain awareness of device reporting capabilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify security gaps
• Engage in security exercises
• Develop and maintain performance metrics
• Proactively identify and recommend security improvements

Requirements

• 4+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
• Experience in setting up and maintaining AWS infrastructure
• Experience in automation languages
• Strong communication skills
• Skills in developing and tuning behavioral alerts
• Background in incident response
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States
