Job Description

Clasp, a venture-backed startup, seeks a Customer Success Associate to handle loan underwriting, customer relations, and provide exceptional service via phone, email, and chat. Responsibilities include evaluating loan applications, assessing risk, ensuring compliance, and guiding customers through the loan process.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer inquiries and provide information on loan products
  • Assist customers with online applications and troubleshooting
  • Deliver personalized support and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and managing escalated issues
  • Handle complaints and supply required documentation
  • Review loan applications, credit reports, and financial documents to assess eligibility and risk
  • Communicate loan decisions clearly and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve underwriting issues

Requirements

  • Experience with Financial Aid (preferred)
